Over the last 3 years dozens of wireless companies were launched promising to be the next big thing since Excel Communications. If you don’t remember Excel it was the most successful reseller of long distance phone services in the network marketing industry.
Today there are two wireless network marketing companies that are jockeying to be the Excel of the wireless industry, Light Year Wireless and Vi Tel Wireless. On the surface these two companies appear to be similar in their goals: saving people money, helping become financial independent and carve out a niche in the wireless market without having to compete with the major wireless companies.
Light Year Wireless
Here is what you need to know about these companies. Light Year Wireless is a subsidiary of Light Year Network Solutions formally Uni-Dial, a publicly traded company based in Louisville, Kentucky. Light Network Solutions is a telecommunication company that owns local phone service and fiber optic network through which it provides a list of services including VOIP telephone services and internet.
Light Year Wireless is the brand of Light Year Network Solutions wireless service. It is not a re-seller of the Sprint Wireless, but a virtual wireless provider that uses the Sprint network to sell its prepaid plans. Although customers can purchase the wireless services directly from Light Year Network Solutions, Light Year Wireless is the network marketing arm for the service.
As a business opportunity Light Year Wireless has two startup cost at $49 and $299 for the Gold package. The gold package qualifies you for all commission level. But if you are not able to afford the $299 Gold package, you can advance to all the commission levels from the $49 level. Also if you are considering using the Light Year prepaid services and are on a budget, the $49 level will make it easier considering you will need to purchase a new phone in order to use the prepaid service.
While operating your Light Year Wireless business, you will have one re-occurring monthly charge for the website marketing system at $49.00 which is optional. And depending on which prepaid package you choose your month expense will be between $79.00 and $108.00 a month when combining the marketing system and prepaid wireless service.
Vi-Tel Wireless
Vi-Tel Wireless launched in 2010 as a re-seller of all the well known wireless service marketed in theUnited States. Although it doesn’t own its own communication network and is not a virtual provider like Light Year, its strength is not requiring customers to switch or purchase a phone to save money.
As an opportunity it does not cost anything to get started and representatives can keep their current provider, save money and earn an income by billing themselves through their own payment centers. There are different levels one can come in at. As an agent it is free to get start in the first month. There after the re-occurring charge is $19.95 for the marketing system. The other distributor levels are Master at $49.95 a month, Executive $69.95 a month and platinum at $99.95 a month. A representative can upgrade or down grade at anytime and commission levels are based up distributor rank which one can advance to from the Agent level of $19.95 a month.
Build Your Wireless List
In there own right both companies have something for everyone, however; in order to build either business customers are required and that is where most distributors will run in to trouble. So the first thing any new distributor should do is use a system that will help build a customer list of wireless users and opportunity seekers.
I recommend starting with something simple such as Freecustomersnow.com . This system helped me build a list of over 200 in less than a month. But now totals over a few thousand.
