3 Ways To Market Your Youtube Channel

YouTube is a really busy site, and at first it may seem impossible to get your channel noticed, let alone get to the top of the search results.
The current market is pretty saturated and marketing your YouTube channel is not as easy compared to a few years ago. However, these three steps will help you speed up your YouTube channel promotion:
1. Use Crowd-Sourcing Sites
You can get a lot of hits using crowd-sourcing sites to promote your work. These sites will use traffic from places like Reddit and StumbleUpon to increase your number of views.
Once you submit your content to these sites, it is worth noting that you are more likely to get more hits if you give your content an eye-catching title. Try to make sure you don't just get short-term "hits" - you need more video views and likes. You need to have more people watching the whole duration of your videos.
2. Target The Right Keywords
Use the Google Keyword Tool, and try some other keyword tools like this one:
See which keywords bring up more videos in Google's search results. Also, take a note of both Google's Search Suggestions and those from YouTube.
You obviously want to mention the keywords in your title, description, and tags, but don't forget the actual filename of the video as well.
Taking it a step further, you could consider creating a Closed Captions, or subtitles, file. There have been studies to show that words appearing in the subtitles can show in search results.
3. Use Social Media To Promote Your Channel
You can use any of the social media platforms to promote your YouTube channel. Post your videos on Facebook and Twitter and so on.
Don't forget to put a call to action in your video description - ask people to like and share your video; don't just hope they might do something, aim to push them into spreading your videos around the internet.
These three ways will help you boost your presence in YouTube and in the process promote your YouTube channel and your business.
