All leaders must reproduce themselves in their followers. This does not mean that your followers must become 'clones of YOU'. It means that your leadership produces leaders who will take over your leadership role when you are ready to move out.

So you give them opportunities to develop their 'leadership muscles', by giving them new responsibilities, asking them to handle some of your tasks from time to time, like presenting a speech or putting the agenda together for a meeting.

So let some of your up-and-coming leaders take over your leadership tasks from time to time. Then guide them when they make mistakes so they will do better next time.
