from Henry V by William Shakespeare "From this day to the ending of the world, But we in it shall be remembered- We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; For he to-day that sheds his blood with me Shall be my brother.
Those who have served our country have an invisible bond, a love, a respect for each other that others only dream to achieve. Those who have shed blood or seen it shed have a scar for life that diminishes over time but never erases. Our returning veterans today not only suffer disabling wounds but invisible wounds as well - post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
Don't castigate them for playing slot car (old term - driving in the center of the road) when they come home, they're avoiding IED's. Chances are they will arrive at work late a lot more frequently than others, it was a rough night - only got an hour or two of sleep, just recollecting things humans shouldn't see let alone remember. Chances are that they may have a bloody hand from punching out the wall - the invisible enemy. When you take them out for coffee or to eat, let them sit first. Guaranteed that they will want the seat facing the door, they've learned not to turn their back on potential enemies. Sharp noises will cause them to seek cover under their desk, and flashes of light will cause them to concentrate - they're counting - flash to bang time - number of seconds times 1000 = meters away where the explosion was. Oh, and sometimes its just a smell that causes them to go away in their mind.
They don't think of themselves as heroes, so please don't call them that. The hero is usually the one who didn't come home. We were just the lucky ones.
Right now, returning veterans have two statistics we have to be extremely worried about. 1. They now have the highest divorce rate in history and 2. They now have the highest suicide rate in history.
So, what is the purpose of this - I want a team of brothers - we know each other, we share unspeakable things, we have the same language - to join my team. Let me show you how to be successful at a business that doesn't mind if you had a rough night, that allows you not to shave if you don't want to shave. Lets restore your perceived value, your dignity, your income so you can concentrate on your family.
I would also like to offer my experience, my suggestions, my thoughts to any home based business owner who agrees that their business is ideal for returning vets and want them (like I do) on their team.
To get ahold of me - join IBO Toolbox, look up my name - become an associate and you'll have my phone number. If, you're a precious brother - you may call me 24 hours a day - I'm here for you when you need me. Here's the link to join IBO Toolbox
