When writing a sales letter you need to make
your offer and promises sincere and believalbe.

*** Give a guarantee

If you are trying to sell something online without
some type of guarantee it's likely that you will be
losing business. You need to have one. The stronger
the garantee, the better your response rate will be.
Make sure your offer is honest. If you're offering a
money back guarantee honor it. Believe it or not, most
people will not ask for one, but they will trust your
offer just knowing you stand by it. Interestingly,
the longer your guarantee will expire, the fewer returns
from a product sale or have people quit your offer.
"Join my program and if you're not in profit in 90
days" sees a lot less people quit than "join my program
and if you don't see a profit in 30 day" then I'll
refund all your money.

*** Don't forget to ask

I've seen it all the time. You write a fantastic sales
letter, and then doesn't close properly by not clearly
asking for the order. Make it easy and simple. For
instance, after describing the product and all it's
benefits, ask for the sale by writing something like:
"click here to order now" or "click here to join this
money making program".
It's always advisable after your signature to add a PS
to your letter and ask for the order again.
