Today I Happened Across This Little Story...

It made me remember just how blessed I am because I already knew the moral of the story... I think I may have heard it about a hundred years ago...

It teaches us to always stay vigilant for the things that should be important in our lives... I know I didn't always pay attention to details like this so when I first heard this story it rang a bell about the size of "Big Ben"... That's when I decided I'd better work on putting the focus on where it needed to be... I needed to work on some issues that I had that I knew were keeping me from reaching my full potential...

I realize today that for years I had suffered from a low self image... I was talking to a friend of mine & told her I had gone on a shopping spree because I definitely needed to make some changes... I found a brand that I liked & bought a couple of mix & match outfits... It was just before I purchased them that I realized they were made out of 100% cotton which meant I would have to iron them... I then told my friend that I had to buy an iron, so I did... My friend took one look at me & replied, I know what kind of iron you got... You bought a "Self Esteem" iron... After I thought about it for a minute, I had to chuckle because I knew she was right...

Signing off 'til next time this is,
