To be able to work from anywhere is one of the joys of working online!
For much of history we have been tied to locations that could sustain us because of good fishing or fertile fields or because that was where the manufacturing plant was located. These places may have also been desirable places to live based on their geography or climate, yet the overriding factor was usually the ability to make a living.
Working online is allowing many people to enjoy their lives while earning a living. People are now more free to travel. Setting a work schedule is not restricted to what your employer dictates. Even choosing something that has personal appeal as a way to earn a living is possible.
In the New Economy people will be much more likely to network together for services and products in a way that is more interactive. Local business can be expanded to a global basis. And the ability to work with people from the other side of the world is just as feasible as working with someone that lives down the street from you.
A great many companies and programs can accommodate this new way of doing things, so you should be able to find something(s) that have strong appeal to you. By being involved with something that allows you to be fulfilled you can have a better since of purpose.
While niche markets CAN serve as your economic engine, you might need to put more emphasis on target marketing than would be necessary if you select a program that has mass appeal.
Since promotional efforts are a huge factor of your success in whatever you choose to do, you will probably piece together several promotional resources in your efforts to bring enough customers to your business.
