There is no shortage of business opportunities. So how do you choose? Most of us choose something that our friends introduced us too, or family, and this is certainly true of my business as well. We think we have "the best" one, and we use whatever information at our disposal to measure our involvement in our respective business opportunity.
Let me suggest a new measuring stick. There are 5 things you must have to be successful in your opportunity. Be very objective about this, and you can see if yours is good enough, best or better!
COMPANY: Your company needs to be run by experienced leaders, people who have created multi-hundred million or more businesses before. You must have transparency, ideally a public traded company subject to regulatory review.
PRODUCT: Your product must be consumable each and every month, to provide a real residual income, not a one-time sale. It should have patents and be unique in the market place. If its a health and wellness product it should have real science and peer review, not on its ingredients, but on the product itself.
TIMING: In business (and especially in network marketing businesses), your opportunity must be relatively new. Ground floor for these businesses are given to the first 150,000 distributors or agents.. where are you? If you've missed this window, the BIG money is gone... unless you're very good at what you do.
TRENDS: The product or service must dove tail with market trends. If its not something people want, it might never take off.
COMPENSATION: You must be paid well. There must be large margins to pay out, otherwise your volumes will need to be massive. There must be good up front money, but long term money as well.
Im a LifeVantage independent distributor, and I believe that we've got all these. Protandim is a unique product with 4 patents and now 11 peer reviewed studies that validate it. LifeVantage is run by some of the industry's best leaders, and is publicly traded stock. The company is older, but recently migrated to network marketing from retail, so timing is perfect. There are many things that make this a real, long term and viable business for anybody looking to make money now and later.
