They say that analogies can be very helpful to comprehend ideas easier. goo.gl/OUuR5 As one of my greatest mentors and friends told me 20 years ago, the way our memory and learning works is 100% based on associations.
So for example, in America at least, there are many people that are fans of American Football. As anyone who follows that sport knows, the goal of the sport is to have forward motion wit hthe ball and find a way to get that ball toward one end of the playing field called the end zone.
The end zone has a line before it that is the threshold of where it begins and when any player with the football crosses this line with the ball, they get a "TOUCHDOWN" goo.gl/OUuR5 and score points. Of course there is also a Field Goal Post that can be used to kick the football at if the team on offense gets down on their chances to score a touchdown.
So the offensive team will have 1 guy kick the ball and attempt to kick it through the field goal posts. So this is what people get excited to see in that particular sport. So, how does this relate to Network Marketing? Believe it, more than you know.
See, so many marketers in the MLM arena do their promotions and show prospects whatever product, service or opportunity they promote. They have high anticipation for these prospects to in one form or another pay money to get something from their company.
So why is it then that a huge percentage of these same reps get stuck at 1 foot away per say from their end zone and can not convert the prospect at that point. In fact, sometimes it can get flat ugly and the promoter keeps getting sacked and losing yardage.
Nothing is worth in Football than having 4th and long. This is how many MLMer's feel as they keep feeling that they are putting more money and time into promoting their companies and having less to show fro all their efforts.
What if the "TOUCHDOWN" or "FIELD GOAL" was close at hand, goo.gl/OUuR5 but they just needed more possessions of the ball or they just needed to run a different play to get the result they were seeking. That could make all the difference.
Even worse and more frustrating is the promoter that is at the 1 Yard Line and no matter what they attempt, can not score at all. They feel they were so close and still could not make it happen. How many of you are feeling like this right now?
We all know the feeling of victory. a Field Goal is like converting a prospect to a customer and a Touchdown is like converting them to Promoter in your Downline. If you only knew how to get the conversion more often and more easily, you would be dominating every game with ease like a Superbowl Team who had an undefeated season.
Should you find yourself in this situation of being on your 1 Yard Line, don't give up and Don't keep running the same play if it is not working. Consult Upline to see what is working for them. Get advice from people that promote what you do that are getting "TOUCHDOWN" after "TOUCHDOWN" goo.gl/OUuR5 and "FIELD GOAL" after " FIELD GOAL".
I know you can score point for your own wining team too. Just go for it. You can do it!
All the Best, Marc
