Your Sixth Sense - Do you Use it and act upon what it is telling you?

Have you ever thought about your dreams, ideas and hunches? Where do they originate? Do you remember them for any length of time? Do they disappear as fast as they arrived. Below are thoughts after reading "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleaon Hill.

The Thirteenth Step toward Riches

Have you ever tried to explain to another person that you were provided with the solution to a problem you had been struggling with for weeks, whilst a sleep in the form of a dream. They look at you as though you have lost your mind. They probably have experienced dreams and hunches in their life but dismiss them as just that. Had they understood that in fact that this was Universe communicating with their brain, would they have paid more attention.

Hill states the following, ‘THE “thirteenth” principle is known as the SIXTH SENSE, through which Infinite Intelligence may, and will communicate voluntarily, without any effort from, or demands by, the individual.’

This principle is the apex of the philosophy. It can be assimilated,
understood, and applied ONLY by first mastering the other twelve principles.

The SIXTH SENSE is that portion of the subconscious mind which has been
referred to as the Creative Imagination. It has also been referred to as the
“receiving set” through which ideas, plans, and thoughts flash into the mind.
The “flashes” are sometimes called “hunches” or “inspirations.”

The Sixth Sense defies definition, which is why it cannot be described to a person who does not have an understanding of the twelve other principles described in the previous chapters. Whilst other parts of the Brain have been isolated and described to date it is not clear where the Sixth Sense is positioned in relation to the rest of the Brain.

In my early days of being a specialist engineer I often spent many hours trying to solve problems until I realized that often I was receiving the solutions whilst asleep. With practice I found that if I thought about the problem just before sleeping, during the ensuing sleep (could be called meditation) the solution would be provided. However it necessitated awakening and immediately recording it in written words or sketched drawing.

I never went anywhere without a note pad and pencil, this practice continued until I joined network marketing, when I discontinued the practice. Since joining Mentoring for Free and in particular the 30 Day Mental Cleanse, I have again started to have a note pad and pencil always close at hand. I am also trying to regain the use of the Sixth Sense through meditation.

A further influence the Sixth Sense has on our lives is warnings of pending danger, the avoidance of potential incidents which could cause us harm and advising on the need to contact a person or persons.

I can events where I could have been involved in or caused a serious accident but for the intervention of the Sixth Sense causing me to take an alternative route or in one particular case taking over the actual steering of the car and its speed through control of my arms and legs.

Michael has given us many examples of his obedience to the Sixth Sense from the purchase of buses through to calling on a given person who has just joined a call.

I have not yet achieved what Hill did through his “Invisible Counsellors” of changing his character by selecting a given characteristic that he admired in a Counsellor and transmuting it into his own character by meditation. This is why I associate with people who have achieved what I am seeking and learn from them. It is a slow process but I will achieve the necessary changes.
