Special Announcement - Why I Left MLM

We've all heard of the 80/20 rule... 80% of the work gets done by 20% of the people. This is especially true in the MLM/Network Marketing industry.

The average MLM/Network Marketer only sponsors a couple of people, and the way compensation plans are rigged so the company makes money, distributors make little or no income.

Multi-level marketing (MLM) is a strategy that some companies use to distribute their products. Consultants get paid by selling the product directly to friends and family in addition to recruiting new sellers into their “downline.” There are no physical store locations for this type of merchandise — if you want to order your leggings or anti-wrinkle cream, you have to order online. However, most MLM companies prefer monthly auto-ship lest you forget to order.

Nothing wrong, or illegal, about online shopping. Amazon is the world's largest retailer -- surpassing Walmart -- and does not have any physical store locations. It's the deceptive compensation plans that are often rigged in favor of the company. Here's a dirty little secret... Matrix and Binary (the two most popular) compensation plans are often referred to as Pyramid schemes, because the system requires a lot of people at the bottom to feed money up the chain to the few at the top.

Not all MLM companies are pyramid schemes — but many are universally reviled by both the people who work for them and the potential customers who are sick of constantly being pestered by friends to buy the products. The State Attorney Generals and the Federal Trade Commission are clamping down on all MLM companies.

So after working in the MLM arena for over ten years, I have left. I started a chain of Mike's Super Stores. I currently own and operate 25 online Super Stores. Franchising is the way to go. It's legal in all 50 States and enjoys the highest income of all business models. Mike's Super Stores will never ask you to become a distributor of any company. Instead, you are invited to purchase only the products and services you need and want.

Back to the 80/20 rule. 80% of the world's population are consumers... always have been - always will be. They haven't the slightest interest in recruiting people into any business (especially MLM). Mike's Super Stores caters to the 80%. Some of the 20 percenters may want to build a business and earn some extra income. That's great if they do, but Mike's Super Stores would rather have 100 loyal repeat customers than a hundred MLM distributors.

Watch for our Featured Store of the Week every Monday on Facebook. We really, really appreciate your business.

Thanking you in advance,
Mike's Super Stores
