I project Ameren will be charging close to 8 cents per KWH in the July/August billing cycle.
Energy deregulation allows you to select a different energy supplier some of which are charging approx 5 cents a KWH.
Why pay more for the exact same power?
Nothing changes but your bill. All the lines, poles and hardware stay the same. Ameren even continues to deliver the power and are the ones you call if you have a problem.
