I have been in and out of Network/Affiliate Marketing for over 20 years. I love the atmosphere of people believing and striving for the American Dream…owning their own business. I currently am a member of several affiliate programs and one direct sales company. And I own a vending (candy, drink, snack) business.
So, Please, take no offense to what I am about to say. Every day I am bombarded with business opportunities and most of them do not contribute to my current businesses. Everyone here is a member of some affiliate or network marketing company. And chances are…you are not here to sign up for someone else’s business opportunity. You are here to have someone else sign up for yours.
I am a believer in selling generic products….products that can be used to help any business owner grow his/her business. IBO Tool Box is a perfect example. It is not selling anything. It only provides a service/platform for affiliate marketers or direct sellers to market their products.
You should consider the same. Don’t flaunt and flash your product because no one really cares about what you are selling. Instead present a solution to common marketing issues, such as generating leads, getting traffic, how to advertise or market products. Everyone here can use some help acquiring leads or sells. That is why we are here.
I have said all that to say this. Spend more time marketing yourself, not your products. Build report and trust among your peers. Show yourself as a leader and a problem solver. Be an Alpha among Deltas. Don’t settle for being an affiliate or direct seller. Be a leader in your industry. Be the one everyone goes to for solutions. Be the best at what you do. But to be the best you must contribute and not take away. You must bring new customers into offline and virtual marketing. You must add to the existing virtual platform. You must be an innovator of marketing tools to help your fellow Affiliate marketers and direct sellers.
So spare me will you? Give me something I can use.
