At some point in time it will hit you that you are not happy. The walls at work will not seem as exciting to look as as they once (and I do mean once) were before, the alarm clock will not sing as sweetly as it did and your eyes will not shine as dimly as they did before (you would be lucky if they shone at all).
Well at least you have your long two day weekend to make up for things, (not to mention that by the time you say the word weekend it will by sunday night again). Alright now, settle down, just remember what we grown ups like to tell the often impressionable young ones: 'It is not whether you win or lose but how you play the game and how much fun you have'.
Talking about fun; each day is a gift..SURPRISE!
I think I will leave that by itself because if you cannot even get that far in your excitement meter then you do need to evaluate how you are playing the game. When it is all said and done did you spend your life contributing or waiting: waiting till the end of the work day; waiting till retirement: waiting till the conversation is over; waiting till a miracle happens, waiting,waiting waiting.
If you want to put back meaning in your life (assuming that you were visited by a thief in the night who took it away in the first place) then it is up to you to take that first step and find something that you can be passionate about because without that it would always be business as usuall.
