Skeptics are hard to convince of anything. They always have huge doubts about what you are telling them and as long as those doubts exist they want budge. Getting past a potential candidates doubts about whether what you are offering will work for them is a challenge that you can win.
You definitely have to convince them that what you are offering will work and make money on their behalf.
Skepticism originate from two types of doubts and the offer you make. The potential candidate may have tried different ways to earn an income and none of them worked. And because of their doubts they believe nothing will work, no matter the proof put before them. Although they want something to work, they have given up any hope that anything will in fact ever work.
The secret to working with a skeptic who has tried different options and failed is to talk about other solutions from the start. Talk about how a lot of people have given up in frustration because previous attempts have failed and were upset because their expectations were not met. Find out what they have tried and what they experienced. From that point you can show them why those attempts didn't work and the reasons your offer was designed a different way. Tell them a similar story about someone else who had encountered the same problem and how well your solution/offer worked for them.
The next type of doubts comes in to play because the candidate isn't familiar with what you are offering to them and wants to avoid being wrong again and making the same mistake by believing your offer. Again talk about that same candidate who had similar frustrations and what they experienced and how well your offer worked for them.
In either case you should ask the potential candidate if there is any concern about whether what you offer them they feel will not work. Question them until you fully get the gist of what is causing their concern and ask what can you do to remove the doubts. Once you remove whatever is concerning them, you now have another candidate to add to your downline.
