When you think of retirement, your aim is to move to a state that isn’t heavy on taxes, utilities and real estate so that your mode of living is very low. Although a lot of people do not move elsewhere-either because they are satisfied where they are living or they really can’t afford to move to a better place or state. Its like a catch-22. You also must think about having access to the best doctors, because in some states, a lot of them definitely are not qualified because of improper training or poor training.
I fear there will be more states added to the worst list because taxes, real estate and utilities are rising by the day, yet the economy continues to get worst by people steadily losing their jobs and homes.
Money Rates evaluated these rankings based on Economics, climate, life expectancy and Crime which is really high in most states. They should have added property taxes also into the evaluations, therefore its not truly an accurate ranking.
