Let's review the ABC's of Business Basics that we have learned thus far:
A- Articulate your plan and your passion
B- Believe and Build Your Brand
C- Create a plan of action
D- Devise a workable operating system.
E- Educate yourself
F- Find Your Niche
G- Generate buzz about your business
Now let's look at H:
Helping Others
When thinking about going into business, I think that we need to understand that we are not just going into business for ourselves but, to be a blessing and help others along the way. We must be reminded that our product or service has to be purchased by someone, better known as the customer or client. We will need help bringing our vision to pass whether it be by hiring employees or independent contractors. We will need outside resources in order to bring our dreams to fruition (i.e. vendors, suppliers etc.). In order for us to get what we want we need to help others get what they want without any reservations. You will be confronted with some hard decisions as a business owner but, when making those decisions remember that you are dealing with living, feeling human beings.
Helping others is paramount to your business success. When you show that you are concerned about those around you, they will step up and show up for you. Happy team members = productive business. You can choose systems over people and in my opinion, you will lose every time.
Helping others means helping your business take it's place among the business owners who have truly learned what It take TEAMWORK to make the DREAM work!
Take care of people and they will be loyal to you!
