You know you are facing necessary uncertainty when you ask yourself the following question, “Would I regret not doing this on my death-bed?” If you would REGRET NOT DOING SOMETHING on your death-bed, that means it’s NECESSARY to step into it. Because our goal is to die with no regrets. Zip, zero, zilch.
From the Divine perspective I imagine a fully present Uni-verse that supports us and KNOWS we need to step out into uncertainty. It’s there to catch us, to hold us, to support us and to nurture us through our fears. Sometimes it’s there to kick our ass, but only if we REALLY aren’t listening.
If you’ve lived most of your life afraid of what would happen if you tried, afraid of dying if you tried, afraid of going without if you tried to live your dreams and not acting on it, you are on the path to die with no regrets.
Most humans are so afraid to die that they never truly live. But the reverse is true: it is in facing our death that we begin to live. Having the death-bed perspective is what helped me to face MASSIVE amounts of uncertainty to get to where I am today. But I’m here. I went through the storm and made it. I know I will have more storms, but what will be different next time is that I will know the storm is a Divine storm and not just life beating me down to prove that I am not worthy enough to live my dreams.
Call your fear’s bluff. Let your life be an experiment in diving into necessary uncertainty and give yourself and your life ROOM to expand into something you cannot yet even imagine.
