I am an ex-mortgage broker that had to reinvent himself after the market's collapse. If I had discovered mlm and the right strategy to work it 10 or 15 years ago I would have retired by now...with that said, better late than ever.
One thing I have noticed and have come to realize is that almost everyone involved with mlm, and every network marketing company under the sun teaches the new people coming into the business that it is so quick to build a down line, it is so easy to make lots of money and have a great lifestyle filled with exotic vacations, great dream houses and fancy cars among other perks. And all this can be accomplished with no work and no sponsoring. All the new people have to do is get in the company’s matrix. But then when I speak to mlmers almost all of them are failing miserably and making hardly any money. In fact I have had about a dozen people contact me in reference to their foreclosures, since my other business is foreclosure prevention.
So Why is it that over 99% of all network marketers fail?
The overwhelming majority of them fail because the training they receive is grossly incompetent and grossly ineffective. They apply the wrong strategies and tactics, which include recruiting the wrong people. They were told that mlm is sharing not selling. Just contact your friends and relatives, your “warm market”, and tell them you would like to share something with them. Well guess what? Friends and relatives, the “warm market”, did not ask or raise their hands to indicate that they have an interest in trying something new. They were recruited and their sponsor and company fed their dreams of quick crazy money with no work involved.
There’s a whole lot of network marketing training out there that tells distributors “what they want to hear”, instead of telling them the blunt truth about what it takes to succeed in network marketing. Almost all new folks in the business use the wrong strategy or have no clue what a strategy is.
How many of the sponsors that make millions of dollars actually walk the walk instead of just doing the talk?
Oh, they come to fancy hotel meetings and give a great speech on how it is done. But when was the last time you saw them actually do what they preach? You are not, because the strategy they actually use is different than the one they preach.
