Trek-The arduous journey Carolyn Coleman-Grady
4-6-12 Better Web Builder Trek-The arduous journey
A journey is a person in itself; no two are alike. And all plans, safeguards, policing, and coercion are fruitless. We find that after years of struggle that we do not take a trip; a trip takes us. John Steinbeck
Oxford dictionary defines Trek as an arduous long journey on foot. Image yourself traveling on foot through the Himalayas it is a beautiful place and if you are a trekker taking time walking the mountains is just what you need.
Taking a journey requires planning. Preparing for the journey includes proper clothing, adequate shoes, first aid kits, water, tents, sleeping gear, and a communication device. To prepare for the trip of a life time plan on the unexpected as your walk the trails of life.
The Himalayas are a mountain range in Asia, the highest in the world. They are north of within Pakistan and Jammu and Kashmir, into the republic of India’s Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal states, State of Nepal, and the Kingdoms of Sikkim and Bhutan; Then into South Tibet. The 15 highest mountains in the world are the Himalayas (simple.wikipedia.org). Traveling the Himalayas is an experience that requires survival skills, and drives the beginning of something new. Like internet marketing and business ownership. Trek with me on this arduous journey and bring your lunch.
I love the quote by John Steinbeck journey is like a person, no two are alike. The journeys we take are different. I believe deciding to become an independent business owner is a journey. In the travel there are important guidelines to establish. These guidelines could include assessing your target audience, products and services, advertisement and investment. I say investment because it is important to understand it may take a small investment to begin your adventure. Financial and time both are equally important. Trekking at your own pace, walking through development, planning and decision making must be adventurous. After all it is a travel that you have planned. It is like planning a summer vacation.
When we plan for vacation we are excited, imaginative, and looking forward to the daily activities. We may drive, fly or take the train but in any case planning comes first. The journey we’ll take in our business makes us walk slowly through a maze of adventure. Imagine a maze of any size curving, twisting with long rows each turn you take cause you to start again. You hit a dead end and find yourself at the beginning again. Finally you begin to trek down the right path and before you know it you came out on the other side. What a good feeling of accomplishment. It is the beginning of a new adventure that sparks the minds of many.
Fruitful planning is better than fruitless results. Trek with me and end up on the other side of success. Are you up for the challenge?
