Breathing is very important aspect of respiration.

The oxygen that is inhaled diffuses across the pulmonary

alveoli into the blood capillaries and transported by the blood to

the site of tissue cells.

Q-1 What do you mean by Respiration?

Ans-The Exchange of gases between the lungs and blood is

         called  external respiration

Q-2 Respiratory Media

Ans-Oxygen is derived from two distinct sources.

free available oxygen from.atmosphere and oxygen dissolved in

         the water for aquatic organism.

Ans-

Q.5-What do you understand by the term breathing Mechanism.

Ans-

Gaseous exchange and transport

The distance between the air  in the alveoli and blood in capillarirs is

 only about 0.1u

Q.6-what do you mean by exhange of gases?

Ans-Exchange of gaseous is a part of blood diffusion?

Q.7-what  do you mean by the transport of Oxygen?

Ans-The transport of oxygen is made possible by red iron pigment?

Q,8-what is the role  of partial pressure of C02?

Ans-The partial pressure of CO2 in the blood reaching the lung is 46mm.

Q,9-what is simple form of Respiration?

Ans-exhale co2 and inhale o2.is calle Respiration.
