Why do we share the things we share???
Given the fundamental pillar of IBOToolBox is sharing, I thought I would explore this topic. Why do I share?  A good place to begin. Researchers tell us that the motives for sharing is quite variable. Factors such as culture, religion, maturity, relationship...all influence the extent of our sharing.

Some Reasons We Share
1. Sharing is a way of defining who we are. We become known by the things we share with others.

2. Sharing gives value to others. The person we share with feels we value  them and their well being.

3. We share to nourish a relationship. Sharing on a continuing basis will strengthen the relationship.

4. Sharing can be self-fulfilling. We may rely on the feedback we receive when we share with others.

5. We share to be helpful; to get the word out, so to speak.(I'm reminded of the person who tries to help a driver find their destination even they don't quite know the directions either, but wants to be helpful.)

Why do I share?
I find myself in all of the above, but what drives me most is the desire to help others see themselves Truthfully. That is to see themselves as God sees them. We tend to focus on more of who we are NOT than who God made us to be. The other thing that motivates me is to give away as much
knowledge as I can rather than take it to the grave where it does no one any good. I find joy in sharing. Giving is more satisfying in the long run than keeping. In the Kingdom of God, we get by giving.

Let me now share what might bless many. Simply click on the Link below.
