A Kid At Heart!

I have never been a fan of computer games, maybe because I am not very good at them. Not that I haven't owned a bunch of them to have around when my kids or grandkids are around. I had the original Pong game many years ago, but most people don't even remember it anymore. Then I had several consoles like Atari and PSP, but the new thing is the smartphone craze.

When my grandkids come over, they usually have their phone out a good part of the time playing games, but when I try they are so tiny my big fat fingers have a hard time doing whatever the game requires with any accuracy. I usually don't last too long.

Well I had a few extra bucks in my PayPal account from my Internet ventures, so when I saw an email offering a 21 1/2" Android 4.0 All In One computer for $200 I went to grab it. Unfortunately like the games I tried, I was a few minutes late and they sold out. However that proved to be a good thing, because a few days later I saw the same Acer unit on a one day sale for $175 with free shipping and I snagged it.

When my son was over last time, I asked him what game I should try to see if it was big enough for me to have some fun with. Tonight I downloaded the free version of Fruit Ninja and OH MY GOSH! This big screen made it easy enough I felt like a kid again.

It throws fruit in the air like Watermelons, Peaches, Berries and others and you slash them with a ninja sword
to watch them explode before they fall off the screen, but you need to be quick and sometimes there are two or three at once. What a blast!

I can hardly wait until the grandkids come over again!
