Once Learned, Knowledge is Yours Forever!

This is one of the best reasons I know of to keep trying new things, especially in the field of marketing and motivation. If you keep adding to your own knowledge and passing it on to other like-minded individuals you have contact with, it grows exponentially through a force known as synergy. That is when the end result is greater than the sum of it's individual parts.

The Website Link I used above, was to a PR I wrote a few days ago. At the end of it, I made reference to a book that was written before I was born and is still being read today. I said I was going to find this book and read it again and I have started to keep that goal. I have a copy on my hard drive and it's already making a difference in my thinking.

On page 11 of 213 pages, I just read a comment by Bernard Shaw that said, "If you teach a man anything, he will never learn." What a profound statement and from my online experience it hit the bullseye dead center. I have tried for many years to 'teach' my associates what I do to get massive referrals and now I realize, that was completely the wrong approach!

The book went on to explain, learning is an ACTIVE process and we only learn by doing. So if you desire to master the principles you are trying to make your own, the only way to succeed is to do them yourself, not read about how someone else did it.

I can't believe that buying a one dollar copy of a book first published in 1937, has already done more for me than some $47 a month training courses I have taken.
