Do You Pay Yourself?

Who Gets Paid First?

Seriously, do you pay the newspaper boy before you pay yourself? What makes you decide the order you pay your monthly bills, before you run out of money?

I was watching the video below (I watch a lot of his videos) and it made me think about how many people I meet online (just about every day), that say they can't afford TEN BUCKS to start adding to the monthly income that can help them solve this problem once and for all.

If you find yourself at the end of each month and discover there was more month than money, there are really only two choices you have in front of you. Reduce the expenses you are obligated to pay, or increase the money you have to pay them with each month.

I know it's nice to dream about pushing a button to start a flow of cash squirting into your bank account that exceeds the proverbial six figure level each month with very little effort required from you, but do you HONESTLY think that is ever going to happen?

Wouldn't it be better to adjust your expectations and start by shooting for another $10 a month just to see if you can do it, then expand slowly by washing, rinsing and repeating the same experience that got you past the first hurdle? I mean, if you do it once, it will surely be easier the second time.

After you develop your skills and methods to get that far, all you need to do is take each $10 it creates and use it to put you in a better position to move ahead.

It really is that simple!
