Are You Telling Your Own Story?

Seriously, who's story are you telling?

I challenge you to try this little experiment.

We are all trying to be active on IBO, because that's what drives the traffic to have people view our pages and hopefully bring us more business.

But just for a short time, for each profile you visit open the PR page and pick one, then click the link near the top that says Visit Website (learn more).

Does the page that opens tell the story of the person the profile is for, or is it a commercial for some product or service they may not even be making any money from themselves?

Are they sharing their success and how they got there with you, or do you imagine they may just be part of the Fake It 'Till You Make It school of thought?

Is the page presenting a new concept to you, or have you already seen it before from someone else's Profile or Press Release?

I know they say it takes being exposed to a new idea 5 to 7 times to get someone to take action, but from my own personal experience I find that to be a joke. If the idea is good enough and I can identify with the person who got me to look, I jump on it like a dog on a bone. I don't know how many good ideas I planned to have another look at later and never did find my way back.

Another thing I am begining to realize is, "Progress Is Power" and even baby steps toward something you want to learn, goes a lot further than clicking around dreaming about it.
