Lower Stress to Increase Income

I have decided to slip even further into a more relaxed online lifestyle and it is working wonders for my new enhanced comfort zone and having the opposite effect on my income that I would have predicted.

You would think that fewer hours would mean decreased cash flow, but since I don't worry about money as much I am more comfortable and people I talk to don't get the sense that I am as desperate, BECAUSE I'M NOT!

How you feel about yourself and your current situation can have a profound impact on how you come across to those you associate with. I know that is an actual fact now, not just a theory that can be refuted by those driven to work harder to reach wealth sooner.

I guess it has a lot to do with your definition of wealth too. Last week my wife let her smartphone slide off the counter and it hit just right when it contacted the floor, so now even though it works just fine, the glass was shattered. Not only does it look bad, but it feels terrible as you slide your finger over the screen.

I know you can get new glass (if you want to install it), but this phone is old enough that it's street value as a used phone is around $25 in good condition, so hardly worth repairing. I told her I would buy a new one (from my Internet Fund), but she rejected the offer. She said it still worked, so she would just deal with it.

Now here's the part that made me feel wealthy.

Today I got an email about the new Motorola G (4th gen) that is 1/2 inch larger than mine, with more memory at the same price I paid a few months ago for my (3rd gen), so I ordered one for myself. I am reasonably sure, that she won't resist taking over my old phone (which is way better than her old one before it was shattered) and I didn't need to go against her wishes that I not buy her a new one.

Having a few grand sitting in my Internet Fund, relieved any possible stress I may have felt over spending the money, so it did give me a feeling of wealth for an instant. No I will probably never be considered actually wealthy in the few years I have left to spend on this Earth, but the feeling is more important to me anyway.

Do You Feel Wealthy to any degree?
