I am an online network / affiliate marketer and generally try to keep my post and articles on the topic of making money.
But earlier today, I seen a photo posted on Facebook of a young woman contemplating an abortion. The caption from her head (or her thoughts) was "My mom is going to kill me" while the other caption coming from the baby was "My mom is going to kill me".
The picture gripped my heart and I would like to give a few thoughts I have about this.
First, if you are a young woman and you find yourself in this situation, I would like to say to you, there is help. Don't let your choice be made entirely upon all your fears. There is a lot at stake here that will affect you for the rest of your life.
Second, if you are a young woman and you have already had an abortion, and are now second guessing that decision (you may be battling a whole range of emotions from guilt, condemnation, depression, and/or others), I would like to say to you also, there is help.
I myself, being male, cannot say that I can know what you are dealing with or that I can identify with you, but what I have learned in life is that when I have made choices that I later regretted and they were beginning to overwhelm me. My help has always been the Lord Jesus Christ.
Yes, the Lord does work through people, and seeking out professional help, such as a counselor, pastor, or other source can be helpful, but what is most needed in many cases in life is a peace in our hearts that can only come from knowing we have been forgiven.
Christ will never turn away anyone that comes to him with a sorrowful heart and ask Him for help.
