The other day I realized that this industry is constantly talking about “adding value” to other people, but almost no one talks about HOW to do it!

What should you talk about?
What should you do?
How should you do it?

Adding value to your prospects is hands-down the fastest way to sponsoring a tidal wave of hard working new reps in your downline, but very few people know how to do it the right way.
So today I’m going to share with you 5 ways to add tremendous value to your prospects, and in turn you will reap the rewards of wealth and freedom that will come your way as a result.

#1: Share what’s working for you.
For some reason, very few people actually open up and share with others exactly what they’re doing NOW to get results. Sometimes that is because they think others already know, other times it’s because they don’t want to encourage competition.
But sharing with others exactly what you’re doing NOW to get results is one of the very best ways to give value to your prospects. Not only will your prospects thank you for it, but they’ll instantly start to view you as an expert. And once they view you as an expert, it is exponentially easier to sponsor them.

#2: Share what’s NOT working for you.
Obviously this is just the opposite of the first one, but it’s used even less than sharing with others what IS working.
So if you try something and it doesn’t work, share that with your prospects! The only catch to using this technique is to make sure that you REALLY tried to make it work before you shared that it doesn’t work with your prospects.
And it’s even better if you can share concrete tests to prove that whatever you’re sharing with them truly doesn’t work.
Some good examples would be split tests you’ve done on your capture page, various advertising techniques, and even email subject lines.

#3. Be authentic. Always be yourself.
You may think that you have to come across a certain way to your prospects. In fact, this line of thinking may have held you back from just getting yourself out there.
Truth is, this industry is an industry of relationships. The amount of money that you make in your business will be a direct result of the number of people that you know and the relationships that you build with them.
You’ll never be able to form powerful, lasting business relationships with people unless you are authentic. As human beings we have a powerful ability to sense when someone is not being genuine, and when we sense this unsettling feeling our reaction is to RUN.
So unless you want to actively “repel” people from your business, focus on being authentic and genuine. That alone will do wonders for your business.

#4. Brand Yourself
The vast majority of people in this industry try to lead with their opportunity. As soon as they get a prospect, they immediately try to show them “the plan” and convince them that they should join their business.
Don’t do this! People join because of YOU… not because of your fancy opportunity, compensation plan, or products. They join YOU because they believe that you are the one that will help them achieve their goals – whatever those goals may be.
So brand yourself by showcasing your knowledge of this industry, online marketing, or even personal development. It’s all deadly! Because when you lead with value, your prospects will invite you into their world as a trusted expert and friend… not a solicitor and pest. And then sponsoring them becomes the easy part!

#5. Associate, learn, and implement the strategies of leaders who give tons of value online
You can “borrow” the value of other leaders in this industry simply by associating yourself with them.
One way is to take pictures at live events with other leaders. This serves to show your prospect that you’re plugged into the industry and you know what’s going on.
Another way is to provide tremendous value to others and then ask a top leader to write a testimonial about you. Just make sure that you create a really great piece of content before you ask a high-level leader for their endorsement.
As a side note, associating yourself with high level leaders will also help you become more proficient in your own marketing efforts. Think of it like immersing yourself in the language and culture of success. When you’re around people who are successful, their habits and actions naturally rub off on you. So use this to your advantage by associating yourself with as many high-level leaders as you can!
