"Plan your work and work your plan". Flawless advice on living life and developing, growing and maintaining a business. What is never in our plans is the unpredictability of life and other people. So "assume the worst and hope for the best" should be sprinkled into our success recipe. In life and commerce, roadblocks arise. By their very nature they will slow us down a bit. But keeping our proper and realistic goal always in front of us will cause us to be relentless in our efforts. And, it must be noted, when our efforts in a certain direction continually put us in a financial hole, we are humble enough to stop digging. A true story comes to mind. Details are sketchy, but a certain college football coach put his rookie running back in to run a few plays in the first game of the season. After running directly into the opposing players numerous times and being tackled, the coach told the rookie, "Son, run where they ain't!" We don't have to burst thru roadblocks, we can "run where they ain't". Carry on, troops!
