World of Opportunity

Last week my husband and I went to our 4 year old grandson’s soccer game.  It was a gorgeous day with a brilliant, blue sky and lush, green grass for the kids to play on.   They were so excited, you couldn’t help but feel the energy in the air!


After the game ended, I was talking to my husband’s daughter-in-law, Mary, (not her real name) who is a Network Marketer as we are.  She had a goal to reach a few weeks ago and asked family and friends if there was anything that they needed to re-order or that they would like to try.  It would really help her if we placed any orders by the end of the month.


Needless to say, we wanted to help her obtain her promotion; so, we purchased a few products!  The products we ordered were products that we had not bought from her company yet.  However, they were ones that we use all of the time.


As we continued to talk Mary asked me how we liked what we had purchased.  I said “they were OK”.  I also mentioned that there was one that I really liked.  It was just what I wanted.  She was pleased that it worked for me.


During this conversation, my husband was within ears length thus he heard what I had said.  He did not interject, just listened to the conversation.


Riding home later, he said to me “Why did you say to Mary that the products were only OK?”.  I said well, we really didn’t care for them that much.  They are OK but not something that we would purchase again so I felt I should be honest and not say that we loved them.  He said “well, someone else may really like them”.  I agreed completely . . .  Just because we didn’t care for them doesn’t mean that there aren’t lots of people who really like what we tried and buy them regularly.  


This led us to a discussion about some products that we had marketed in the past.   There was one product that we never could find people who liked it or got the results that others were getting no matter how hard we tried.  No one had positive effects; yet, others who shared the exact same product could not say enough about how good it was and how they loved the changes they were experiencing.  There were also other items that we didn’t care for the quality of or it was just something that we didn’t use: so, how could we share it with others if we didn’t believe in it ourselves. 


Some people will be extremely successful marketing one product and another person will not be able to get anyone to purchase it.  So if the product you are selling doesn’t resonate with you, you will be frustrated and wonder why you are not having the success others in the same company are having.  It probably has nothing to do with your ability to grow a network marketing business.  It may be something that another person loves; therefore, they experience much success!  You can be just as successful with a product that you love and feel comfortable sharing.


Our conclusion was that there is a vast world of opportunity out there for everyone!  Something that works for one person or that one person likes, may not work for another.  There are products for everyone, companies for every one and opportunities for everyone!  You just need to find your niche . . .


Mary loves her company and is doing very well and we will continue to support her!  I encourage everyone else to do the same.  Market products/merchandise that resonates with you and support other network marketers by buying products from them that you use and like but don’t sell.  


It’s a big world with plenty of bright, green grass and beautiful, blue sky along with many different products, so enjoy it.  Help one another share and grow their businesses!   Then, you will feel the energy permeate the air as it does when watching 4 year olds play soccer . . .
