While Patrick Ripkey is still young he has already proved himself to be a young yet busy individual. Other than seeking higher education and doing various kinds of volunteer work, Patrick has a passion for playing guitar. His particular passion being the electric guitar but he is multi-talented and plays the bass guitar as well as acoustic guitar. And the sound he wants to achieve is very important to him. Not only does playing the guitar help him relieve stress, but he enjoys being able to share his passion with others when he plays in his church band at the Temple Terrace United Methodist Church in Florida.
Not only is music important to him individually, but music programs have been found to be very important for children in general. Not only has a correlation been found between children who play music and mathematical skills, but it helps to expand a person culturally. Whether you listen to large symphonic orchestras or hard rock, chances are that the musicians picked up and started their musical talents while they were young. Music can help keep the mind and body relax and calm, be used for meditation, or be used to keep a steady rhythm to work out with.
The guitar is a very common instrument and many young adults find enjoyment using it as a tool for socialization with their own rehearsals or concerts in the comfort of a basement or garage.
Patrick Ripkey shares his musical talents not only with his church, but also plays guitar for the music band Steadfast190. But his skills were not gained without lots of practice and his attending of two different music schools: House of Rock and Tampa Guitar School both located in Tampa, Florida. If you are interested in learning guitar or another instrument, it can be done as easily as looking for a music store, a tutor, and lots of practice.
