We have probably often heard people say things like, "If I was lucky like you I could be a big recruiter…. I’m just not a “techie” & don’t know much about computers so I could never do one of those things…. I just don’t know enough people who would want to do something like that…. I only know how to do ________ (whatever they did all of their lives) so I couldn’t do that!.... I’m not a salesman/woman…."
There really is only one quality that a person needs to have above all other qualities to be wildly successful in all areas of life including your network marketing business. Yes, skills are helpful but they can be developed. Yes a huge contact list can make it easier, but not needful. Yes, a few basic computer skills are helpful but not a requirement (I don’t know of one sponsor who would not happily enter your applications for you till you get the hang of things)! Yes being comfortable talking to strangers is helpful but not required!! I could go on but the one thing by far more important than being smart with all the skills is, an “I CAN” attitude!
An “I can” attitude will do more to help you break through the perceived barriers than anything out there. The belief that with God’s help & blessing NOTHING can stop me – not lack of skill, contacts, popularity or money… nothing can hinder my success if I know that “I CAN” with God’s help!!
