1. Tell people the monetary value of the freebie.
Example, "Free Subscription to my e-zine! A $19.95 value!"
2. Add other freebies to your freebie to increase the
value. Example, "Download the book now and get a free
subscribe to my e-zine!"
3. Limit the time or supply. Example, This offer will
only be available until Friday." or " For the next 100
people only."
4. You could give more details about the freebie.
List its benefits, its features and what problems the
freebie will solve for them.
5. Compare the features and benefits of your freebie
with known products or services that others have paid
for.
6. Describe your freebie to sound more attractive.
Example, instead of just plain old "Free Report" say
"XYZ Explained In Simple Language"
7. Use testimonials from satisfied customers using
your freebie. Most businesses do not use testimonials
for their freebies.
8. Tell people how many you have given away. Example,
"Over 35,000 copies downloaded already! Get Yours Now!"
9. Combine your freebie with a PAID offering discount.
Example, "Download your free Podunk Lokator and get a
10% discount on all purchases"
10. Offer a freebie with a free upgrade after certain
actions are done, Example, fill in the form, purchase
this and get a free upgrade etc.
