The other day I posted a blog "Keep going when everybody tells you to stop running" and I want to extend on that topic just a little bit. Obviously, the background underpinning of all of this is the fact that there are 14 million + people in the US that are not working. And it is not just the US, many people in other countries face the same situation. They all have different backgrounds, circumstances, etc... Even people that are working are not that far better because they are living a very stressful life, concerned everyday when something bad might happen and be laid off or lose their job entirely.
The point is this, many people have realized that it is good to have a plan B, and the overwhelming conclusion is that, plan B should consist of you owning a business of your own. The goal is to eliminate the stress and the uncertainty that goes along with having a regular job. The goal also is to become financially independent. The way to get there requires Independent Business Owners to learn what works, what doesn't, how to get there, and a lot of other things in between. Success is not handed down to you, success is earned. So, how can an average person, with little or moderate means become successful in business?
I suggest to you that one has to learn and follow the habits of successful people. Therein, lies essential ingredients to the formula of achieving success. Let's take a look at those habits. The number one habit of successful people is an unending sense of optimism. This part is very tricky because that sense of optimism is very fragile, due to the fact that there are a lot of external factors that can blow away that dim light of hope (which is the embodiment of Optimism). And we all struggle with this, but successful people also protect that sense of optimism (Fearlessly).
What are the other essential habits?
2) Establish an objective and develop a plan with goals, and really map out how you will (achieve the goals) CRITICALLY IMPORTANT to be realistic in goal setting. 3) Monitor your Progress and make adjustments necessary. (Now, on this point, many get here and gets stuck) which is why the next habit is essential 4) Be resillient. If you are not already so (learn to overcome obstacles, and maintain a positive mindset) 5) Lastly, SEEK AND YOU WILL FIND, it may take a while and this may take you down several paths, but if you keep searching, and search dilligently, you will find solutions to the problem or obstacle.
