Winning hearts and minds.

Those of us who are in network marketing know how difficult it is to recruit people in our business. There are many reasons for that because the internet is a vast field and network marketing is a dynamic industry. One of the reason it is difficult to recruit people is because there is a lot of competition in network marketing, particularly the health and wellness industry. Just as an example, according to the Direct Selling Association, there are 40 new companies every month that enters the market, most of them offering the same products and services as with existing companies, with slight variation. With that level of competition, one can see the enormous challenge and obstacles that entrepreneurs and business owners face in recruiting people in their business. As a matter of fact, competition is not the only obstacle that business owners face in recruiting people in their business. There is also a very high level of negativity among the general public with regards to MLM or multi level marketing. Some of that level of negativity is warranted, because there are a lot of bad apples out there, a lot of bad programs and bad companies who are questionable to say the least. The general public has been bombarded with a lot of unscrupulous offers from bad companies and bad programs promising everything under the sun. There are tons and tons of programs out there that people get into, some have lost thousands of dollars getting into these different schemes, matrixes, money gifting programs and others. There are also some good companies in the industry. For example, there are many companies in the health and wellness field with many natural products that provide a stark alternative to the drug industry; which by my most account only delivers products with side effects, which does not help the patient at all. So how does one go about recruiting people into a health business, with the high level of negativity that surrounds network marketing? One of the solutions that are often talked about is Branding, the need for the internet marketers to brand themselves, which is to differentiate himself or herself from among the many companies and the many distributors out there. Branding is a very effective strategy however recruiting people into a business requires just a little bit more. This is why I came up with a strategy which I call “Winning hearts and minds” “Winning hearts and minds” is a strategy which gives people accurate information on the many ways a person can learn to live a healthy life. “Winning hearts and minds” is a strategy of raising health awareness about the many health diseases such as Diabetes, Heart Disease, High Blood pressure, auto-immune disease and others that are plaguing the US. Heart disease, for example, is one of the leading causes of death in the US and around the world. It is quick and fast, and takes its victims by surprise, and often does not give doctors and surgeons adequate time to address and fix the problem. People need to understand that there are consequences to the choices that they make with respect to food. People need to develop healthy eating habits and they need to stay away from acidic food, high cholesterol and high calorie food and adopt a low carb, low calorie, and low cholesterol diet. Good health is not by accident. Being conscientious about health, and maintaining healthy eating habits will prevent a lot of deaths and a lot of illnesses. “Winning hearts and minds” encompass a commitment to educating people about health, and showing them a business where they can maintain good health and make money at the same time.
