Your Content Repurposing Plan
Potential clients want valuable content. Have you noticed that some people out there always have content to share? How did they find time to write all their articles, tweets, or Facebook status updates? I know that you are busy. You probably don't have a lot of time to work on your content. But you know that you need to produce content on a regular basis. It's how potential clients find you and it's how you can attract them. This week, I'll teach you how you can easily produce a lot of content from that single piece of content that you already have. You don't have to reinvent the wheel. Your assignment this week is to implement this content repurposing plan. Here's how:
Step 1 - Pull out an article or blog post that you have written
Step 2 - Create 3 "teasers" of that blog post for your Facebook status update (now you have 3 status updates)
Step 3 - Create 5 tweets by extracting nuggets from your blog post
Step 4 - Re-write your article for submission to 5 article directories
Step 5 - Create a simple Powerpoint slide presentation and put important info in bullet points
Step 6 - Read your article and record your voice while reading
Step 7 - Publish your new content!
Follow these steps every time you write an article. Content that is repurposed in so many ways will reach more of your target audience. Not everyone may enjoy reading articles, so turning your content into bite-sized status updates, audio, or even video, and slide presentations would help you deliver valuable content that your target audience needs.
These tips are something to begin branding yourself and your business.
