One of the hardest tasks you will find when you begin a home based, network marketing, MLM business is how to structure your allocated business hours to be the most productive..the most effective.
The first task is to decide how many hours you are going to spend on a daily basis on your business, and then what you are going to do within that time frame. Traditional jobs do all of this for you, so this is not really a skill people are familiar with unless they are in a management position.
This is going to take some careful thought and planning, and may need weekly revision.
Theoretically one should spend 80% of the time on income producing activities.
This includes:
1. All lead generation activities (online and offline marketing)
2. All contact activities with Leads including:
a) the initial appointment
b) the all important follow-up visits
c) attending webinars with your prospects
d) 3 -ways calls with other team members
e) all activities necessary for prospect and customer support
The other 20% is spent on everything else:
1. Personal development
2. Company trainings
3. Team meetings
4. Business office related activities such as accounting,
purchasing office supplies, cleaning and organizing office
5. Chatting with team members
This is really another way of defining time management and job description.
Part time and full time will differ in the allocation and breaks may also have to be scheduled
as a reminder to take care of personal needs as well.
By taking the time to establish a workable schedule of activities, you will have set up a true serious business atmosphere to your business, and your prospects will feel this attitude of conviction you have with your home based network marketing, MLM business. This serious approach will be the cornerstone to your success. You will know what you are doing and when, and that knowing will also be demonstrated in your self confidence.
