Urgency Is Your Best Friend

If you want to be successful, a sense of personal urgency will do a lot to move you in the right direction.

I am in something that just launched, and realized once again what I tend to do at the beginning of a project.  That is, to immediately promote to people I know and people I don't know, like you.  Writing this article is an example of a form of promotion.  I'm not sure how many people understand the value of that.

From experience, I see that so many people don't get into action immediately and then wonder why nothing is working for them.

I remember a mentor in the past said to me...speed of the leader is important.  I have always basically "hit the ground running" and got to work immediately on my projects.  In looking at why I have success over others, I think this inner drive has a lot to do with it.  That inner drive is really another way of expressing the sense of urgency that people need if they want to truly have success.

I know that sometimes there are issues that can hold people back, but perhaps it is important to decide to commit fully to a project before starting and then go all in.

Make sure you get help from your sponsor.  Use them to talk with interested people, it takes you out of the equation.  When you have a low cost program, you can move forward quickly yourself too without doing what we call the "3 way".  It is up to you.
