Treat Your business Like a "Job"

If it helps you to understand what is needed to succeed, then.."treat your business like a (you would) a  job". I think this perspective may be useful.

The only difference between a Job and a Home Based Business is that you have to be accountable to yourself and not someone else and you will have to put up seed money to get it going and keep it going.  But both take work.  In both cases, if you don't work, you will lose the income.  In a job, you will get fired, in your own business, you will not make what you need.

How do we look at "jobs"...at a job, we show up and do the work and get paid.  In a home based business it is the same.  We show up, do the work and get paid.

Now the "job" can be different for different businesses, and it is important to understand  the ins and outs before getting involved, just like any job.

My very first homebased business was a party set up to sell candles and candle holders.  If I did not seek out people who would invite me into their home to present the product to their friends, I did not make money, even at a leadership level, unless there was personal work that was also done.

In the businesses I am doing right now, the true monetary rewards all start from personal work.  If you commit to learning and doing the actions needed to do the job, you will reap the financial rewards from your efforts.

Again, think about this..if you were are at a job, and did nothing, you would be fired.

Understanding what you need to do for success is of utmost importance for you.

If someone asks you what's your job..you can answer correctly, I ______________.  ( I give people access to travel at net prices..what do you do?)

hmmmm..that was easy.

To your success always,
