Deuteronomy 28:2-8 & ALL these Blessings shall come on thee, & overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God
Blessed shalt thou be in the city, & blessed shalt thou be in the field.
Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, & the fruit of thy ground, & the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, & the flocks of thy sheep.
Blessed shall be thy basket & thy store.
Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, & blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, & flee before thee seven ways.
The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in the storehouse, & in all that thou settest thine hand unto; & He shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
Psalm 34:10 The young lions do lack, & suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.

 | | Amen to that Reverend Dave. Too often I hear words to the effect "you can be Christian and prosperous". Took me a long time to get over that myself. If you spend time in the word you know that God richly blesses us when we ask for his blessing and submit to His will. |
