Lesson from Failed Phone Line

On July 4th after returning from watching “Man of Steel,” we discovered our phone line had a tremendous amount of static. The dial tone was intermittent. Let me digress briefly if I may. This Superman movie is not like any before it. It’s non-stop science fiction action and still brings Clark Kent and Lois Lane together for a little romance.

Back to the point. Our phone line was fried. We couldn’t get calls and we couldn’t make calls. Now I know a lot of you no longer have a land line, but we still do. We also just started texting on our cell phones having just gotten cell phones we could even text on, LOL. However, we still love our land line.

Then we got up on Friday and had no dial tone at all. I called Verizon and they put me thru some hoops to try and fix it myself, and then agreed to send a technician when that failed. He came today about 10:30 and of course found the problem.

He said a line running outside on the side of the house became worn from age and weather. The insulation cracked, and then water seeped inside the wiring causing it to short circuit eventually which was the final straw in causing no dial tone.

Okay, here’s the point of all this. Do you work really hard without a hold lot of results, and then you get worn down, sort of short-circuit and quit perhaps not even realizing you were just short of the finish line where the money was going to start pouring in? The experts tell us that so many aspiring entrepreneurs quit just before success. Don’t let that happen to you.

This home-based business will help you get to the finish line successfully: http://moscoachingprogram.com/trk/index.php?ac=a7026&t=ibopr
