Autoresponders are an email broadcasting system that will send your messages (ads,ezine,newsletter etc.) to anyone that opts-in (gives you permission to email them). The reason we suggest you use an opt-in forum & autoresponders in your marketing is because there is a much better chance of someone purchasing from you if you explain the products you offer & the business to them. By using an autoresponder you are automating this process. If all you do is send your prospect to your affiliate site & they are not ready to purchase on the average they will stay there 30 seconds & then click off to another site. By following up with them by autoresponder you improve your chances for a sale. Autoresponders can be a powerful way to get your message out however usually you will need to follow up with your subscribers by email or phone as well. Following up by phone works the best.
