We have talked about your Daily Priority List of the Actions you will be taking on daily basis, and we understand that daily means every single, solitary day, no exceptions, and yes this even means on Saturday night. So, if you want to go out Saturday night you get your list done before you go because we will not take the chance that we are too tired… to do it before we turn in for the night.
Now these Daily Priority List’s that we are doing, again, will differ for everyone but one thing for sure is that we need to get our name out there on a daily basis.
One of the first items on your Daily Priority List is to write and post.
You are branding yourself, you are getting readers to recognize our name, to get to know you and what you do. Not all your readers will care about what you are writing about, but some will.
You know Oprah Winfrey, are you one of her readers? Maybe or maybe not, but I will bet you know her name and that if the title of the article interests you, you know it is a trusted source and you will read it.
That is what branding is, and that is what your goal is. You may never be an Oprah Winfrey, but as you write and more people read what you are writing about you will get a following, and a following of people who like what you say and you will develop a level of trust with these people. And, the more people that know, like and trust you the faster and stronger your business will grow.
There are no shortcuts to this part of your action plan, none, it is all about you sharing what you are learning and focused on. Uh-oh, this adds to your action plan as this means you will have to be constantly learning and writing about what you learn.
Back to Oprah, does she do the same show over and over, not a chance, and yes, she has a lot of help, but she didn’t when she was getting started. She was out there everyday building her name, her brand, learning and sharing.
Now, every day Oprah features different topics, different guests, different recipes, different books, always something new to keep her readers and viewers interested and coming back for more.
What are your aspirations? To be an Oprah? To be everything you ever imagined? To be wealthy? To live in a house on the beach where it’s 20 steps from the breaking waves?
Everything you can imagine can be yours, it takes action, daily action and it takes your knowing what you are going to do so you will accomplish those tasks you have set for yourself.
I have talked about writing, but this is only one avenue available to you, videos, still pictures, all that you can imagine and/or create only opens more ways for you to get your name and your brand in front of more and more people.
Now let us get one thing perfectly clear, and that is that you will never run out of things to talk about, never, and the day that you do is the day you did not learn anything and the day you have totally wasted and given to someone who really cares. That’s right, if for some reason you feel you do not have something to share than pick up a book, go for a run or a ride, go visit a park, library, zoo, wherever you need to go or do to get the motivation to find something to share. If you do not realize it by now, if you don’t someone else is, someone else is so motivated that they will find something to share at least once per day, there are some so motivated that they will find two or more things to share. There are others that want success so bad they will do whatever it takes to succeed. Are you one of those?
How many articles are you willing to write? How many videos? How many songs will you sing? Or how many volleyballs will you practice spiking? Whatever you goals and dreams are there will be someone else out that wants it as bad, if not more so, than you do, and the second you slack off you are giving others every opportunity to pass you, maybe leave you so buried in the dust you may never arise
Being a phoenix is not an easy thing to be, to rise from the dust is hard, very hard work.
Wherever you are at this point in time you have every opportunity to accomplish everything you desire, but there are rules, there are principles, there are certain things that you need to do and to do them on a daily basis. When you realize this with all your being, all your heart and soul, you will know that you will never want to turn back.
You will succeed, you will! I believe that the second you make the decision there will be no stopping you, except you, and I believe that you will never let that happen!
