I believe in writing my own blogs. It is very rare that I use others materials. Mainly because it is their ideas and their beliefs. Today a friend sent me a text that I wanted to share because the message is so powerful. I am not here to tell anyone what to believe. This is one of those stories that you listen to the message and don't kill the messenger. What I mean by that is, leave your religious beliefs out of this and accept what the message has to offer.
The Bible: Me: Promise you won't get mad? GOD: I promise Me (frustrated): Whey did you let so much stuff happen to me today? GOD: What do you mean? Me: Well I woke up late. GOD: Yes Me: My car took forever to start. GOD: Okay... Me (growling): At lunch, they made my sandwich wrong and I had to wait. GOD: Hmmmm... Me: On the way home, my phone went dead, just as I picked up a call GOD: All right Me (loudly): And to top it all off, when I got home, I just wanted to soak my feet in my foot massager and relax, but it wouldn't work. Nothing went right today! Why did you do that? GOD: Well let me see...the death angel was at your bed this morning and I had to send one of the other angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that. Me (humbled): Oh... GOD: I didn't let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that might have hit you if you were on the road. Me (ashamed): ..... GOD: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick and I didn't want you to catch what they have. I knew you couldn't afford to miss work. Me (embarrassed): Oh... GOD: Your phone went dead because the person that was calling was going to give a false witness about what you said on that call. I didn't even let you talk to them so you would be covered. Me (softly): I see God GOD: Oh and that foot massager, it had a short that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn't think you wanted to be in the dark. Me: I'm sorry God. GOD:Don't be sorry, just learn to trust me...in all things, the good and the bad. Me: I WILL trust you God GOD: And don't doubt that my plan for your day is always better than your plan. Me: I won't God. And let me just tell you God, thank you for everything today. GOD: You're welcome child. It was just another day being your God and I love looking after my children. Mike S. Isnady
This is the way it was delivered to me. I am not sure if Mike wrote it or sent it out. Either way, I am sharing the message because it is powerful.
I always talk about people using the phrase "keeping it real". What is real is your perspective and it is only real to you. So "did you get the right message" (perspective).
Before you look at the world from your "immediate" prospective, realize there are always other options. When you grasp the idea that there are always options, you stop judging and you start to live.
It ain't right. It ain't wrong. It's just my opinion Ron "Simplified" Myers

 | | Hello my good friend Terri. How are you? Yes, all need to see it at least once. That is the reason I said take the religion out because you know some people will immediately avoid it just because God is used. We know for us, he makes it all possible. I just don't want anyone to miss the gift (the message). |
| | | | | What's up Mr Len? Thanks for taking the time to share. By the way, I never mentioned to you that my mothers maiden name is LaChapelle. Yes, it is - lol |
| | | | | Trust in God. With God all things are possible. I've seen this somewhere before and the message is a good one to share so others can read it too. ~Terri Pattio - MLM Coach/Mentor with a servant's heart |
| | | | | Ron,
I've got to share this.
all the best |
| | | | | There's my man Sig. What's up Sir? You know we are on the same page. That is why I always talk about not judging. If we could do that as a human race and allow others to run their own race, we would be an awesome society. Thanks for the comment my friend. Hello Ms Leslie. It is great to hear from you. I always look at things and comment to myself, as Mr. Brown would say, I say "self" and my self says "huh" - lol. No, I comment "there is something I am supposed to get from this" |
| | | | | Loved the story Ron. Very powerful message. You just never know...Always better to keep the faith and smile through adversities. |
| | | | | Its allways best when we write ower own blogs, but yet, if you liek to share something from your friend, I see nothing wrong with it. And those words I believe can help many. I will share it so people can see it believers or not. Sig - TeamSig
(I respect all, as long as we all can work and live in peace) |
| | | | | What's up Paul? I am grateful that you stopped by and for the share. How are you Michelle? The story had a powerful message for me also. I pray and am giving thanks 24/7. Just as I am giving thanks for having awesome people like you in my life that take the time to visit and share. |
| | | | | Great little story, Ron! It really spoke to me... made me look at my life and think about all of the little things that I forgot to Thank Him for today... thanks for reminding me :)... blessed be! |
| | | | | Got the message Ron! Like and share for you. |
| | | | | What's up Bill? You know you get an "Amen" out of that - lol In most instances we don't know what we really want. We think we know, until we receive the gift he provides and it is better than what we thought. Thanks for the feedback Sir |
| | | | | The song "Trust and Obey" comes to mind. We have to remember His ways are not our ways and that He means for us to prosper. |
