What I Learned At The Water Park What I Learned At The Water Park, soak city, water park, buena park soak city

Yesterday, my wife and I went to the water park (Soak City) here in Buena Park, California. We went with our sister, brother and niece.
We got on one of the rides called "Lazy River". I guess it isn't really a ride, it is a pool that stretches around other rides in the park. Some people actually just walk the path. For most, they use a plastic inner-tube and lay inside of it.
I saw some people fall asleep in their tube. That is why it is called "Lazy River" because the water doesn't move too much.
Anyway, I learned a valuable lesson while sitting in the water tube. If you just relax and allow the river to take you downstream, it is so peaceful. My brother and I were talking about how we could sit in our tubes and spend the entire day. As a matter of fact, he is one of those people that fell asleep.
Well I also saw people that were putting their feet in someones tube or held the handles on someones tube (to keep connected). Those people moved slower down the river because they had to get 2 tubes or more around others while going downstream. Pulling others or others pulling you creates work. I called it - "paddling upstream."
Why is that important?
It proves what Esther Hicks talks about with the law of attraction. She is always talking about everything you want in life is downstream. Yet, most spend their time fighting to go upstream. We listen to people telling us "the harder you work, the better the results." Every successful person I know or heard of actually work smart, not hard. We have been told "no pain, no gain". Well how much business is done on the "Golf course?" I could continue but that's another blog.
Esther says that you could actually pull your oars into the boat (laying in the tube) and allow the river to take you to your desires (in this case the ability to rest your mind, get away from the rat race, enjoy the surrounding scenery and for some - sleep). I know for a lot of people that ride on the "Lazy River" was the most peace they have had in their life in awhile.
Why? They stopped fighting life (the river) and allowed the river to take them to what they really wanted (relaxation and peace of mind).
What are you getting to Ron?
Quit listening to people that make you believe that you have to work hard 24/7. Don't buy into the philosophy, "no pain, no gain". If there is pain, you shouldn't be doing it. Pain is actually the sign that you are doing something wrong or moving in the wrong direction. You are here on this earth to enjoy the journey, not to be stressed out.
So my recommendation would be to truly learn and use the law of attraction and you will quit listening to what most people are teaching (including some millionaires and gurus).
I know some are arguing out loud with what I just said, but look at the evidence. Majority of people are working hard at their job. Devoting most of their life to something most say they don't enjoy doing. So I would assume they are in "pain." Yet, 90-95% of people are broke, so that would say "no gain." I would say that system doesn't work.
It ain't right. It ain't wrong. It's just my opinion. Your Partner in Success and Life Ron "Simplified" Myers

| | | | | Although I do work a lot, I don't work hard. Everything which absolutely has to be done every day takes less than an hour. There are days when that is all I do. I also have done everything in my power to make sure someone is trained so someday it can all be handled by those who work for me. |
| | | | | Ron, great post. It is all so true. Tubing down the river is nice too. Have never done that, but I should put that in my bucket list. |
| | | | | Cool blog Ron... I've found the more I let go of the preconceived notions that I have to make things happen and allow the right ideas and the right people to come into my life, the more productive and profitable I become. I enjoyed reading about your adventure on the lazy river. |
