Someone thanked me today for everything that I have done for them. They said the mentorship that they received from me is what changed their life. The person said they didn’t know where they would be without my input. See this individuals parents made some bad decisions. Mom got caught in the drug scene and the Dad is in jail.
Well I thanked them for sharing that they appreciated my effort. It made me feel good. That is why I believe that “giving” will always bring you the opportunity to “receive”.
I shared with them that even though I shared what information I had, ultimately they deserve the credit because of the decisions that they made. They had the “free will” to ignore every thing that I said and go in a different direction.
What am I getting to? In life, we all have roads to cross. We have the “free will” to make decisions. So where you are today is based on the decisions that you have made (good or bad). When people recognize this truth, they realize that they are truly in control of their destiny.
So for those of you that are looking to blame, realize that you are in charge. So make wise decisions, because your future depends on it.
