Think About How You Can “Add Value”

I wrote a PR some time ago about adding value.  We have all heard Kris Karafotas say time and time again, that when we are entering a comment on the IBOtoolbox wall, we need to “Add Value”.

It really is important to Add Value not only on IBO but on all Social Networks or Forums in which we participate.

When John Maxwell featured the words “Add Value”, he said that he could talk a long time about those words. He firmly believes that everyone can be successful if they wake up each day and ask themselves: “Who can I add value to today?”

As John says, “Many people think that success is unreachable.  They are out there trying but they just can’t seem to reach success.”

But he says, “No, No – if you truly add value to someone, then you are already successful. “

He goes on to say that there are two kinds of people in this world: 

The ones who get up every day determined to intentionally add value and they will be successful. 

The second kind of person will never be successful because they get up every day thinking someone needs to add value to their lives.

This so vividly illustrates Albert Einstein’s quote: "Try not to become a person of success but rather try to become a person of value."

We who have been in Network Marketing any length of time have heard really good Mentors tell us to stop focusing on ourselves.  They tell us to get into Forums and build relationships on Social Media and “add value”. 

I encourage you today to take this powerful principle to heart and start beginning your day with the question: “What can I do to add value to someone today?”
