Scammers, How to pick them out. part 1
VISIT WEBSITE (learn more)
|
For many years I have found scammers an interesting breed. I have learned to smell them as soon as I talk to them usually.
I know everyone that has an email has gotten some very lucrative offers of $100,000 to 20 million or even more. But the one common denominator is more than often, they spill the entire deal in one letter. Going as for to ask you for all your information at the same time. Still, many have fell into this and ended up with empty bank accounts when they were expecting the "wire". If the deal sounds to good to be true...it is. By the way, how did they get YOUR info??? Somehow, you got on someones potential "sucker" list.....
Another popular one now is going after people that are actually looking for money such as on Craigslist. They offer next to no interest, fast and easy loans. Just fill out this application. (which is a list in an email) Name, address, phone, age etc. Once again, they will get your banking info for the "wire" Ask them for a phone number and address....9 times out of 10, they won't provide it and say I'm not available, but fill out the info and I'll get you your money. I shouldn't need to tell you to stay away. Investors that really loan money do not hide from client. They are not going to loan money via email only...duh
They sell high dollar items on ebay..western union them the money...No!! If the price is to low, and they say that they're out to sea or many other reasons, and ask to pay via western union or other payment methods other than insured types of payment.....most likely you're about to be taken..with no recourse.
There are stories of women being promised love, but I need tires and gas to get to you....my wife had this one offer. of course she played with him because we knew he was in Nigeria. But there are women and men being taken by "love" scams everyday.
FYI..If you didn't know already in the past, Nigeria and Ghana were the 2 largest scam capitals of the world. Interpol has cracked down on a lot of them, but they keep growing.
I know a guy who met someone online. They said they were going to send them gifts (and they did) In addition to these gifts, I'm going to send you some more things to sell for me, just keep a percentage. Was kinda fun til the local law enforcement came to visit. They were using other peoples credit cards and account numbers to buy stuff. I, of course had told him, but he didn't listen. He ended up getting out of it and apologized to me and said he wished he has listened.
So, tonight, here on IBO, I was approached. When someone im's me, first thing I do is look at their profile. This particular one said they were from Ohio, Ohio. This being my birth-state, knows there isn't (that I ever heard of) a city named Ohio..but I may be wrong. Second, his business was kind of a strange one to be on here. I clicked....error code. So, the way he talked...def not American. Later in the conversation, this man called me, a man ...dear....LOL Any way, back to the grammar. Scammers never talk clearly, You can always tell. I have dealt with businessmen from all over the world, and one thing that is almost always in common, they make some kind of sense on the easy chit chat.
So, I am about to expose this IBO member. I hope Paul doesn't get upset with me, but damn. This site is supposed to be positive and now we got scammers invading the site! This actually is very upsetting and I strongly believe there needs to be a more secure method of joining. I understand its not an easy thing to do, but........man!

 | | Thank you for writing this blog, I know the internet can be unsafe, but I had no idea it was this bad! |
| | | | | A bad apple will always sneak in occasionally... just let Paul know and I'll bet he/she is gone quickly! |
| | | | | Excellent article well worth reading carefully. My opinion is you need to expose him because scammers do not belong in IBO Toolbox. Thanks for sharing. |
| | | | | Excellent post Ronald ! A this kind of person contact me here on IBO too.
I tell him I am not interested about his offer but he insisted ... so I said to send me a message to see what it is about.
Today I wait for his message :) it is clear ... it's a scammer. |
| | | | | I just posted most of the chat in Part 2 I will post the expected email tomorrow..hopefully it goes to spam...lol
|
| | | | | Oh I hate the SCAMMERS!! Some scams are so good and professional looking you wonder why these people don't take their talent a go legit. But it takes all kinds. Everyone has to remember that saying, I don't have it exactly but I know the gist of it is "Buyer Beware" |
| | | | | Yes, the larger we get, the more we'll have I'm afraid |
