How to Speed Up Your Shopify Store

Start with GTmetrix or updated Google Page Speed Insights website analysis tools to find out your shop's current average speed, resolve any file loading issues and optimize page load times. Sometimes you may need a Shopify Developer who can look through your theme code.

Even if you've already optimized all images on the website but there could be other issues that need attention such as:

- leveraging browser caching,

- minifying javascript,

- removing query strings from static resources,

- combining images using CSS sprites,

- defering parsing of JavaScript,

- enabling Gzip compression.

In order to get the speed down the ideal site load speed should be under 3-4 seconds overall especially the product pages.

If your Shopify store's speed optimization is managed well you will see the boost your conversion rate.

Don't forget regular check and resolve any Search Console errors and follow Google requirements regarding to SEO.

For example fix Google mobile usability issues so that to make your shop 100% Mobile Friendly.

Website owners sometimes see this message in Search Console: Google S.C. has identified the following issues on your site and deemed it to be not mobile friendly.

Issue #1. 'content wider than screen'

Issue #2. 'clickable elements too close together'

Issue #3. 'text too small to read'

Issue #4. 'viewport not set'

and so on.

You can see when you bring down your page load it speeds up across your store drastically.

As a results you will make the Shopify store much faster and make more sales!
